HASTINGS, Neb. – Primary Elections are next Tuesday, May 14. View our profiles of the five candidates running for Hastings Mayor here.

Hastings residents will have a new Mayor for the first time in eight years after November's general election.

On Tuesday, May 14, voters will vote for Mayor and other local, regional, and national government positions.

Out of the five candidates: Rodney Holling, Jay Beckby, Jacque Cranson, Shawn Hartmann, and Bill Hitesman, only the two candidates receiving the most votes will advance to the general election on Nov. 5.

News Channel Nebraska spent the past month and a half interviewing each candidate and asking them the same questions to make their case to Hastings voters.

You can find full responses from each individual in the videos below as well as the articles linked in this story.
