BAYARD, Neb. — Kimball’s Kyler Lusche fired a 73 to win individual honors at the Bayard Invitational Golf Tournament on Tuesday.

Lusche was five strokes clear of Hemingford’s Jacob Bryner, who placed second with a 78. Chase County’s Gavin Wisnieski (79) finished third, helping lead the Longhorns to the team title with a combined score of 332.

Chase County placed three golfers in the top 10 — Wisnieski, Zak Anderson (82) and Harrison Foote (83) — to edge out Hemingford, which finished second at 356. Bridgeport (365), Kimball (367), and Scottsbluff JV (370) rounded out the top five.

Other top individual performers included Owen Plog of Hemingford (80), Tyce Spady of Scottsbluff JV (81), Rhett Flack of Crawford (82), Canon Pfeiffer of Alliance JV (83) and Clayton Shultz of Mitchell (83).
