Bond set at $1 million for man accused of sexually assaulting children in Sheridan County

RUSHVILLE, Neb. - A 25-year-old Alliance man is being held on $1 million bond after being charged with multiple felonies related to the alleged sexual abuse of children in Sheridan County.
Enrique Hudspeth-Saunsoci, also known as “Cowboy,” faces five felony charges: one count of first-degree sexual assault of a child, two counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child, and two counts of child abuse.
According to court documents, the alleged abuse occurred between May 11, 2021, and May 11, 2023. Because of the age of the alleged victims and the sensitive nature of the case, the court has sealed the arrest warrant. As a result, few additional details have been made public.
Hudspeth-Saunsoci is scheduled to appear in court on June 26. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
