VALENTINE, Neb. - Two men are facing charges after police say they caused damage to a Valentine bar and a nearby vehicle earlier this month.

Tyus Birdinground, 29, of Mission, South Dakota, and Luther Mandan, 28, of Valentine have both been charged with disturbing the peace following an incident at the Corner Pub on June 3.

According to court records, the pair entered the bar and allegedly attempted to start a fight with other customers. When asked to leave, they initially refused. After exiting, the two are accused of standing outside, banging on the windows and throwing a rock at one of the front windows, causing minor damage.

Authorities say they also damaged a nearby pickup by throwing rocks at it.
