CODY, Neb. - Two people injured in a two-vehicle crash west of Cody earlier this week were reported in stable condition Tuesday evening, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.

The crash happened around 1:25 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 20, roughly five miles east of the Eli junction. Troopers say a 2013 Subaru Outback collided with a 2019 GMC Sierra.

Of the three people involved, two were taken to the hospital. Both were wearing seatbelts, according to the State Patrol.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
