MALCOLM, Neb. — The Malcolm Post 354 Juniors made history on Wednesday evening.
Malcolm became the first Nebraska American Legion Juniors team in history to win four consecutive state title by defeating Meridian-Tri County 8-0.

Brixon Meyer pitched a complete game shutout in the victory, while Chase Smith led the way at the plate with two hits, two RBI and two runs scored.
Malcolm's run to a four-peat started with a state championship in Creighton three summers ago. The following summer Malcolm won the state title in Imperial before winning its third straight state title in Hartington last summer.
