Traffic stop results in three drug arrests

SIDNEY -- A Sidney man was arrested in a traffic stop October 4 and appeared in Cheyenne County Court Monday to face charges of Possession of Methamphetamine 140+ grams, Possession of a Controlled Substance, No Drug Tax Stamp and Possession or Use Drug Paraphernalia.
At about 7:38 p.m., Sidney Police observed a white SUV eastbound through the alley between Osage and Newton Streets, turning without using a turn signal. The SUV was stopped at
Justin Kettle, 26, of Sidney, was identified as the driver of the vehicle.
He appeared in Cheyenne County Court Monday to face charges of Possession of Over 140 Grams of Methamphetamine With Intent to Deliver or Distribute, (Class IB Felony) and Possession of Methamphetamine Without Tax Stamp (Class IV Felony).
Bond was set at $250,000 or 10 percent.
Alycia Prince and Harley Becker were also in the vehicle during the traffic stop. According to court records, Prince opened the door because the window did not work and officers "smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana."
She was arraigned Monday on the charge of Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class IV Felony. Her Preliminary Hearing is scheduled for October 20.
Officers also identified Harley Becker, 42, in the SUV. Becker is facing a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class IV Felony. Bond was set Monday at $20,000 or 10 percent. His case was continued to October 20.
