Big Boy launches annual Ornament Smash radio game

SIDNEY, Neb. - A holiday on-air tradition returns to 987 The Big Boy next week.

Listeners who text SMASH to (308) 254-5804 will have the chance to play Ornament Smash through Dec. 24. Participants pick an ornament from the Big Boy Christmas Tree each weekday morning at 9:40 a.m. Every unclaimed ornament contains a prize featuring gift cards and holiday items from local businesses throughout the region.

If a listener selects an ornament that has already been chosen, no prize is awarded and the game continues the following day.

Participants can track which ornaments have already been picked by visiting thebigboy987.com, where daily updates will be posted throughout the promotion.

Ornament Smash has become one of the station’s most popular holiday events, engaging listeners and businesses across western Nebraska, northeast Colorado and southeast Wyoming each December.
