CHEYENNE COUNTY -- The "Shop Cheyenne County Days" program for 2025 has about a week and a half left.

The final day for the punch card purchasing program is December 13.

The program encourages holiday shoppers to shop at local retailers. Shopping with participating retailers can result in entry in a drawing for prizes. Chamber Director Joe McCarn said the drawing is based on how much a person spends at Cheyenne County businesses.

"Shop Cheyenne County Days goes through the 13th. Our drawing for the prizes will be on the 18th. Basically with the Shop Cheyenne County Days, we do the stamp card program. For every $200 somebody spends, they get their name entered into a drawing. Its basically done in $20 increments, so if they get 10 punches on a card, that's an entry into the drawing. We'll collect all those drawings. We'll have the actual drawing on the 18th," he said.

McCarn said there are several prizes that will be available in the drawing. 

He said the program is designed to encourage shopping local instead of regional shopping centers.
