Temporary water outage planned in parts of Valentine Monday

The City of Valentine will temporarily shut off water service on Monday, December 8, from 2 to 6 p.m. while crews replace valves at 2nd and Wood streets.

VALENTINE, Neb. - The City of Valentine will temporarily shut off water service on Monday, December 8, from 2 to 6 p.m. while crews replace valves at 2nd and Wood streets.

The outage will affect the following areas:

• 2nd and 3rd streets from Edna to Wood

• Edna Street between 2nd and 3rd

• Victoria Street from 3rd to 4th

• Wood Street from 2nd to 4th

City officials advise residents in the affected locations to plan accordingly during the scheduled interruption.

Because of the outage, the Valentine Middle School will also dismiss students at 2:00 p.m. Monday.
