BELLEVUE, Neb.— A now-former Bellevue police officer is in jail on charges of child sexual abuse.

Nebraska State Patrol arrested 38-year-old Ryan Agustin on Friday afternoon.

In July, the NSP say they got word from the Attorney General’s office that Agustin was suspected of possessing child sexual abused material.

Agustin was placed on administrative leave after the allegation became known.

An investigation was conducted and found Agustin was in possession of said materials.

He is being housing in the Sarpy County Jail.
