• The Airport Authority of Gordon will hold a meeting on Thursday, December 4, at 5:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the City Auditorium. Following, the Gordon City Council will meet right after at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers.

 

  • The Valentine PEO Winterfest Craft & Gift Show will be held Saturday, December 6, from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine.

 

  • The Martin Chamber of Commerce Annual Craft Fair and Parade of Lights, will be held Saturday, December 6, the Craft Fair will be held 10 to 4 at the old American Legion. Santa will be there at 3, and following after the Craft Fair, the Parade of Lights will begin at 6 on Main Street in Martin, and the fund raiser dinner will be held at the New American Legion.

 

  • St. Mary's Knights of Colombus's annual pancake brunch and bake sale will be on Sunday, December 7, from 9:00 AM to noon, at St. Mary's Social Hall in Nenzel, Nebraska.

  • The Bennett County Extension Office is providing Private Applicator Training on Wednesday, December 17, from 12:30 to 3:00 PM in the Martin Library Community room. Training is over rangeland management and Prairie dogs.
