LINCOLN, Neb - Husker basketball improves to 2-0 after an 81-54 drubbing of Florida A/M.

The Huskers used 16 assists to help pave the way, with Rienk Mast and Brice Williams leading the way. Williams totaled 15 points with six rebounds and two assists, while Mast put up a double-double scoring 20 points and grabbing sixteen rebounds.

He provided his thoughts on the win postgame.

"You see the potential," Mast said. "We beat this team, but we had 18 turnovers and shot 41% on the field. Not a great game on our part, but we got it done. So I think you see the potential of what we can be when we get guys back and Keisei is going to be huge."

The Huskers played their second game in a row without Keisei Tominaga (ankle), Ramel LLoyd Jr. (ankle), and Juwan Gary (suspension).

Fred Hoiberg was also complimentary of Mast's big night and said he hopes the strong play continues.

"Rienk was the guy who got it going early for us," Hoiberg said. "I thought guys did a good job finding him... I love to see that when guys are making shots and guys making an effort to find them again next time down. Rienk was phenomenal tonight."

Hoiberg did note postgame that the team is hopeful Tominaga can return Monday night against Rider, while they also expect a return from Juwan Gary sometime next week.
