CHAPPELL - Heartland Country Music Artist B.J. Jamison, of Arnold, Neb., will celebrate the release of his new song, "The Note," Wednesday night at The Local in Nashville, Tenn.

"The Note" was written by Nashville singer and songwriter Dave Gibson. It was produced by Dave Gibson and Jake Burns at Curb Studios in Nashville. Jamison told 987 The Big Boy Wednesday morning, the song was intended for George Strait, but because of unforeseen circumstances Strait never recorded it, so Gibson gave the song to the Nebraska country music singer.

The Rusty Bucket will be giving away a $100 gift card and B.J. Jamison merchandise. Jamison will be performing live at The Rusty Bucket Pub and Grub in Chappell on March 15.
