Two adults died and two minors were injured during a two-vehicle crash near Thedford on Saturday

THEDFORD, Neb. — Two adults died and two minors were injured during a two-vehicle crash near Thedford on Saturday.
According to the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office, 42-year-old Justin Sprague, of Thedford, and 42-year-old Amy Mckillip, of Beatrice, died when the SUV they were driving collided head-on with a semi. Two minors in the SUV were taken to the hospital—one with serious, life-threatening injuries, the other with non-life-threatening injuries.
The semi driver was assessed by EMS personnel and released at the scene.
The accident happened around 12:40 p.m. on Highway 2, near mile marker 211, east of Thedford.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
