ALLIANCE, Neb. — The Alliance Police Department is asking for the public’s help to solve a crime that they say was like a scene straight out of a movie.

The burglary happened at Carhenge around 2:20 in the morning on March 28.

The department has released surveillance images and a video of two people, presumably male, wearing dark clothing and driving a two-door black sedan.

Police said the sedan has tinted windows, black rims, and modifications to the exhaust system, producing a distinct noise.

In a Facebook post, the department said the exhaust was so loud that you'd think they were auditioning for a monster truck rally.

They also compare the crime to a heist straight out of "Fast & Furious.” The suspects used prybars and a portable drill to break into Carhenge, which is a replica of England's Stonehenge located near Alliance.

No word on what the suspects stole.

If you have any information, please call the Alliance Police Department at 308-762-4955 or message them on Facebook.
