POTTER, Neb. — Hundreds of power poles are down in the Panhandle area of Nebraska from this weekend’s storm.
Take a look at these pictures from High West Energy. The district said the storm knocked down more than 200 of its poles. Other districts, including Chimney Rock and Wheat Belt Public Power District, said they also have around 200 poles down.
Crews from across Nebraska are coming in to help, including KBR out of Ainsworth. The company is sending six employees to help Chimney Rock.
The manager said that the crew will be gone for four days helping to restore power, and they may send more employees after those four days if needed.
