VALENTINE, Neb. - Valentine High School was placed on “hold” Wednesday morning. A “hold” is when people are not allowed to be moving around the building.

According to a Valentine Community School Facebook post, the precaution was taken because of a medical emergency where school officials wanted to keep the hallways empty.

Throughout the standard response protocol, students continued to study in their classrooms.

The “hold” has now been lifted.
