VALENTINE, Neb. - A 41-year-old Valentine man has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for seven counts of Abusive Sexual Contact. Christopher Franklin Beauvais sexually abused three adolescent girls within the Rosebud Indian Reservation between 2006 and 2012. The victims ranged in age from 12 to 15 years old, and the abuse happened in a home, at his workplace and in public.

Court documents reveal that the abuse ended in 2012 when Beauvais solicited a picture of the youngest girl’s bare breasts.

However, Beauvais then touched another 12-year-old girl inappropriately in 2020 in Mission while she slept.

In addition to the prison sentence, Beauvais will also be on supervised release for five years and is ordered to pay a $700 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund and $1,426 in restitution to one of his victims.
