PLATTSMOUTH, NE - The Blue Devils took a double-header sweep over Conestoga in high school hoops on Friday, January 3, as heard on B103. The Plattsmouth girls dominated in a 70-21 win before the guys pulled away late for a 50-38 victory.

In the ladies' contest, Conestoga hit just 6/20 at the free throw line, while Grace Rodis finished with a team-best 13 points and all of the team's fieldgoals. Kayla Briggs led Plattsmouth with 16, while teammates Averi Winters (13) and Jolie Dix (10) also scored in double figures. The Blue Devil girls are now 7-3 on the season, while Conestoga's squad is 2-7.

For the guys, the Cougars were just 5/13 at the charity stripe, while the Blue Devils wound up 6/8. Conestoga had Ty Walker lead the way with nine points. Plattsmouth saw Traceson Skalberg go off for 23. Conestoga slides to 3-5 on the season, while Plattsmouth is now 4-6.

Plattsmouth will host Louisville on Tuesday, January 7, while Conestoga will bring in Ralston that same evening.
