Valentine School Board swears in new member, elects leadership

The Valentine School Board welcomed a new member and established its leadership team during Thursday’s meeting.

VALENTINE, Neb. - The Valentine School Board welcomed a new member and established its leadership team during Thursday’s meeting.

Michelle Kluender was officially sworn in as a board member after securing enough votes in the November election. She joins re-elected members Jo Hand and Shane Kime in shaping the district's future.

The board also elected its officers for the upcoming term: Kris Larsen as president, Greg Gass as vice president, and Jo Hand as secretary. Larsen then designated Shane Kime as treasurer.
