PINE RIDGE, S.D. – Water service in the Pine Ridge area will be temporarily shut off from 3 p.m. Wednesday until midnight Thursday to allow crews to repair a water line, according to Oglala Sioux Tribe (OST) Water and Sewer.

In addition, water service in the Sunrise Housing Area will be shut off from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday for repairs to a main water line.

OST Water and Sewer officials confirmed that the new Pine Ridge Hospital and Pine Ridge School areas will not be affected by the shutdown.
