NORFOLK, Neb. -- A northeast Nebraska woman is in jail after a weekend stabbing. 

Police said 26-year-old Shawn Wieneke of Norfolk was arrested Saturday evening. 

Police said a victim told police she and Wieneke were in an argument when Wieneke grabbed a knife and attacked the victim, slashing her hand and neck. 

Wieneke was arrested on felony assault and weapon charges. 

She's currently being held in the Madison County Jail.
