2025 Give Hastings Day raises over $900,000 for Adams County non-profits
HASTINGS, Neb. – 113 Adams County non-profits are receiving much needed funding from over 5,000 generous donors during Give Hastings Day.
The annual fundraiser put on by the Hastings Community Foundation concluded with its in-person giving day Thursday at The Lark in downtown Hastings.
From early giving, which began on April 16, to midnight Thursday night, a total of 5,469 unique donations totaling $948,915 were made.
Organizers say every donation no matter how big or small makes a huge difference to each of the non-profits.
"What those non-profits do for our community, is make it the amazing community that it is," said South Central United Way Exec. Director Jodi Graves. "The non-profits do so many different things, and impact every single individual that lives here in some way."
The five Adams County non-profits receiving the most funding were Hastings Catholic Schools Foundation ($42,147) - Hastings College ($37,504) - The Salvation Army ($34,596) - Schnase 1906 District ($33,060) - Hastings Area Habitat for Humanity ($30,220)
