CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- Work is underway on U.S. 30 between Pine Bluffs, Wyo., and the Nebraska/Wyoming state line.

Crews with the Wyoming Department of Transportation and Simon Contractors were scheduled to start work on Highway 30 in Pine Bluffs Monday, weather permitting.

The project is a carryover from 2024. Work is taking place between the Wyoming/Nebraska state line and Parson Street in Pine Bluffs.

Crews will begin by installing inlets and cleaning culverts. Then they will widen the shoulders and finish the new railroad crossing at Butler Avenue in Pine Bluffs.

Commuters should expect flaggers and traffic control during milling and paving operations. The project is to be completed by the end of June.

All WYDOT project scheduling is subject to change.
