SAINT CHARLES, Mo. - Three 16-year-olds from Nebraska were arrested in Missouri after the State Patrol says they led law enforcement on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), a trooper spotted the vehicle around 10:45 a.m. on May 10 driving carelessly on the interstate. A license plate check revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen.

When the trooper attempted to stop the car, MSHP says the driver refused to pull over, prompting a short pursuit. The vehicle eventually exited the interstate and crashed. One of the teens reportedly fled on foot but was quickly taken into custody.

All three teenagers were arrested and turned over to juvenile authorities in St. Charles County.

Names are not being released because of the age of the suspects.
