Kimball authorities make pair of arrests Tuesday
KIMBALL, Neb. — The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office made two separate arrests on Tuesday, June 3, following reports of a stolen transmission line and an assault at a local reservoir.
Deputies responded to a call reporting a vehicle that had slid off the road. The caller indicated the vehicle was hauling a stolen roll of transmission line. Upon arrival, authorities arrested 32-year-old Cory Ramsey for possession of stolen property valued at more than $16,000.
Deputies also responded to a complaint of an assault at Oliver Reservoir. Following an investigation, 34-year-old Kyle Gibson was arrested on multiple charges, including second-degree assault, strangulation, terroristic threats and criminal mischief. The Kimball Police Department assisted at the scene.
Authorities reminded the public that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
