Colorado Man arrested for possession in Kimball County

KIMBALL -- The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious person, which resulted in the arrest of a 62-year-old Colorado man.
Sheriff David Hottell said on June 21, a deputy was dispatched to Rook RV Park in reference to a female causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with the female who was knocking on doors to get water and use the restroom. She stated that she was with a male in a broken-down truck near the highway.
When the deputy encountered the male, Kelly Schueseler, the two were acting strange, so he asked Schueseler if there was anything illegal in his vehicle, and he stated that he had a marijuana pipe. The deputy then conducted a search of the vehicle and found methamphetamine.
Schueseler was arrested and charged with Felony possession of a controlled substance.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
