Allison Hendricksen Hiett and Casey Williams were early standouts for a CSC softball program that was revived at the Division II level in 2006. Hendricksen Hiett patrolled third base for the Eagles, batting over .300 in all four seasons she played and hitting .345 for her career, while finishing her time in Chadron with nearly every CSC offensive record at the time of her graduation. Hendricksen Hiett's program career RBI record of 140 stood for 15 years until it was broken this past season.
Casey Williams put Eagle softball on the map when she was named the 2009 RMAC Pitcher of the Year in the program's third season back. That season, Williams led the RMAC in strikeouts (185), ERA (2.46) and batting average against (.220) while allowing just 124 hits in 156.2 innings. Also a 4.0 student, Williams was named the RMAC Academic Player of the Year in 2009 as well.
Ally Malzahn Benzel becomes the first CSC women's golfer inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame. Malzahn Benzel recorded a program-best season stroke average of 82.5 in 2007-2008, which remained the program record for 11 years after, while winning two tournaments and compiling the Eagles' best 18-hole and 36-hole scores. Malzahn Benzel was named to the RMAC All-Century Women's Golf Team in 2009.
Sunni Busch, a Rosebud, South Dakota native, averaged 13.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game during a three-year career for the Eagles. One of 13 1000-point scorers in program history, Busch also ranks fifth on CSC's all-time career rebounding list despite a 5-foot-8 frame. Busch won five RMAC East Player of the Week awards during her career and clinched the second triple-double in program history during the 2007-08 season.
Jourdin Holden and Mike Smith were both standouts for Chadron State men's track and field from 2006-2008, both transferring to CSC from Phoenix College. Holden competed in the jumps and was a two-time RMAC Indoor Champion in the long jump, along with a runner-up finish in the same event. He placed seventh at indoor nationals to earn All-American honors in 2007 and still ranks within the top five both indoors and outdoors in school history. He was also a national meet qualifier in the high jump.
Mike Smith established himself as one of the top sprinters in the RMAC and in Chadron State history during his three-year Eagle career. Smith had an astonishing 11 top three individual RMAC meet finishes and was the 2007 outdoor 200-meter RMAC champion and the 2008 indoor 200 RMAC champ. To this day, Smith holds the second and third-fastest 100-meter times in Chadron State history (10.34 and 10.45) and the second-fastest outdoor 200 time (20.97).
The final two 2025 inductees were members of Chadron State's 2006 and 2007 teams that won back-to-back RMAC championships with 12-1 records. Wide receiver Logan Stropko finished his career with 113 receptions, 1,150 yards and eight touchdowns and was a two-time first-team All-RMAC and All-Nebraska selection. Stropko hauled in half of his career touchdowns during the 2006 season, when he was the team's leading receiver with 46 catches.
Beau Wendling was a two-sport CSC athlete, playing four years of football and two years of track and field for the Eagles. On the gridiron, Wendling battled two ACL tears but started all 26 games during his junior and senior seasons in 2006 and 2007, finishing with 90 tackles, four interceptions and 20 pass breakups as a cornerback during that two-year span. Wendling showed a knack for the big play, returning a fumble for a touchdown in an upset win over Montana State and coming up with a pick-six against Nebraska-Kearney.
