Norfolk, Neb. — As summer draws to a close and the school year looms, downtown Norfolk is preparing to host the highly anticipated annual Mimosa Fest, sponsored by US92. The festivities will take place on Norfolk Avenue, between 2nd and 3rd streets, on Saturday, August 9th from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of mimosa flavors, including classic orange, tropical pineapple, sweet strawberry, and tangy mango. In addition to the featured beverage, the festival will offer canned mimosas, beer, mixed drinks, and a selection of food trucks. The event also aligns with US92's "Green Light Great Night" initiative, promoting local bands and featuring a special musician who has appeared on "The Voice."

This year, Mimosa Fest is partnering with the Animal Shelter of Northeast Nebraska, with a portion of the mimosa profits benefiting the organization. Festival-goers can enjoy live music, explore food trucks, relax in the beer garden, and sample various mimosa creations. VIP wristbands are available for $40 for those 21 and over.
