SIDNEY -- The Sidney Police Department has received multiple reports of individuals using fake currency in local transactions.

While this money may appear convincing at first glance, it is clearly marked with phrases such as "MOVIE PROP" and "FAKE."
 
"We urge all business owners, vendors, and anyone accepting cash payments to be aware. Please take a moment to carefully examine all currency received and advise your employees to be on the lookout for these fraudulent bills," said Police Chief Sam Lovato in a news release.
