Colorado woman facing multiple drug charges after arrest at Lake McConaughy

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A Colorado woman is behind bars facing several drug charges in Keith County.

Tarin Hohn, 34, of Henderson, Colorado, is charged with multiple charges including four counts of distribution of a controlled substance and four counts of possession of controlled substance.

According to the arrest affidavit, a conservation officer with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission was patrolling Lake McConaughy when he found a white sedan stuck in the sand on the beach.

The officer said as he approached the vehicle, he noticed a man trying to dig out the tires, as well as a bong on the center console.

The officer said he found meth, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, several baggies and 31 oxycodone pills during a probable cause search of the vehicle.

Hohn was arrested and lodged in the Keith County Jail on a $250,000 bond at 10% percent.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 28 at 1 p.m. in Keith County Court.
