FAIRBURY, Neb – The stage is set for one of the biggest nights of the summer in Jefferson County.

Preparations kicked off Thursday afternoon as crews rolled the massive 32-by-24 Apex mobile stage into the center of the Jefferson County Speedway. Throughout the day, lights were rigged, sound systems tested, and the venue transformed into a full-scale outdoor concert space in anticipation of Shenandoah’s highly anticipated live performance.

The Grammy Award-winning country band, known for timeless hits like “Two Dozen Roses,” “Next to You, Next to Me,” and “Church on Cumberland Road,” will headline the evening, bringing their signature sound — a mix of heartfelt ballads and boot-stomping anthems — to Fairbury.

Opening the show will be Nebraska’s own Jordan Schoch, delivering a high-energy set to get the crowd on their feet. Gates open at 6 p.m., with music starting around 7 p.m. Grandstand seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for the best experience.

Two beer gardens — courtesy of Tooleys Bar and the Fairbury Chamber of Commerce — will be on site, along with food from the Side Trek Bar & Grill food stand. Cash is recommended for food, drinks, and vendors, though an ATM will be available.

For those looking to make a full weekend of it, camping is available just a block from the speedway for $30 per night (call 402-729-5514 for details).

Tickets are $30 online at olred995.com and will be $35 at the gate. With perfect August weather in the forecast, tonight’s show promises to be a night of unforgettable music and small-town summer fun.
