STERLING, Colo. – The Sidney Lady Raiders shook off a slow start to earn a four-set road win over the Sterling Tigers in their season opener Thursday night. After dropping the first set 15-25, Sidney regrouped to take the next three, 25-16, 25-21, 25-8.
Sterling led 15-13 in the opener before closing on a 10-2 run to put Sidney in an early hole. The Lady Raiders answered in set two behind three early kills from Rylan Misegadis as they built an 18-8 lead and evened the match.
