Traffic stop near Kimball leads to drug arrest
A traffic stop in Kimball County led to the arrest of a man accused of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute.
KIMBALL - A man was arrested Thursday following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of a large amount of marijuana in Kimball County, according to the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the stop occurred on Oct. 9 and resulted in the arrest of Mauel Moreta Flores. He was booked on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana more than one pound, no drug tax stamp and willful reckless driving.
The Kimball Police Department assisted in the investigation. Authorities said all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
