Potter-Dix gets the win on parents night

POTTER, Neb. – Senior Landon Gasseling racked up 169 total yards of offense and scored three touchdowns to lead Potter-Dix to a 63-0 win over Creek Valley in D6 football action Friday night in Potter.
The Coyotes were firing on all cylinders, scoring 10 total touchdowns and finishing with 449 yards of offense. Gasseling led the charge with a dynamic performance on the ground and through the air, while sophomore Caden McConnell added 87 yards passing and 22 yards rushing for a total of 109 yards.
Defensively, Potter-Dix was just as impressive, forcing two turnovers, including a pick-six by senior RJ Ramsey.
The Coyotes rushed for 233 yards on 21 attempts and completed 8 of 13 passes for 111 yards.
Senior Mason Timm led the Storm with 42 passing yards and 4 rushing yards before exiting late in the second quarter with an injury. Junior Luke Fletcher stepped in and went 2-of-7 for 39 passing yards.
The Storm finished with 91 total yards of offense—10 rushing and 81 passing.
With the win, Potter-Dix improves to 4-3 and will host South Platte (2-5) next Friday at 7 p.m. Creek Valley drops to 2-5 and will travel to Chappell to face unbeaten Garden County (7-0).
