Emergency crews respond to two-vehicle crash at Highway 30 and Highway 385

SIDNEY - Emergency crews responded Thursday morning to a two-vehicle crash with reported injuries at the intersection of U.S. Highways 30 and 385 in Cheyenne County at approximately 10:15 a.m.
"It would appear that a flag car for trucks moving a mobile home came to the stop sign and its unclear whether they came to a complete stop or not, pulled out in front of a southbound pickup pulling a trailer," Frerichs said. "It looks like its loaded with construction equipment. The pickup ended up t-boning the car. The car was send down into the ditch, subsequently caught on fire."
He said there were three people in the pickup truck and one in the flag car. He said everyone was injured. Everyone in the two vehicles were transported by medical ambulance to Sidney Regional Medical Center.
Traffic in the area was temporarily stopped as first responders worked at the scene. Traffic lanes were reopened by about 11:30 a.m.
Three Sidney Regional Medical Center ambulances responded, along with the Sidney Volunteer Fire Department, Region 21 Emergency Management, the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office and the Sidney Police Department.
