NORFOLK - Class C2 #1 Cedar Catholic followed the same script that's worked for them all season - dominate the line of scrimmage and play great defense.

On Friday that script wrote a story Trojan fans haven't heard very often, beating rival Norfolk Catholic 27-7.

Cedar Catholic beat the third-ranked Knights for just the second time, racking up 265 yards on the ground in the process.

On defense, the Trojans kept Norfolk Catholic in check, with the Knights managing a season-low 281 yards of offense.

Friday was the just the fourth time in the last five seasons that Norfolk Catholic has been beaten, and their most lopsided loss since falling to Archbishop Bergan 49-20 in the 2021 state championship.

Cedar Catholic clinched the number one overall seed in the Class C2 playoffs, which begin next week.
