PEETZ - The Colorado High School Activities Association released the 2025 state football playoff brackets this weekend.

In the 6-man playoffs, No. 4 Peetz will open at home Friday night, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. against No. 13 Arickaree. Nearby, No. 12 Fleming will hit the road to face No. 5 Otis in the first round, also scheduled for Friday.

In the 8-man bracket, three local teams secured first-round home games. Top-seeded Akron will host No. 16 Crowley County on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. Seventh-seeded Sedgwick County will host No. 10 Clear Creek in Julesburg, while Haxtun, the No. 2 seed, will welcome No. 15 Plateau Valley to town. Both games are also set for Saturday at 1 p.m.

Winners advance to the quarterfinals the following week. The 6-man and 8-man championship games will take place Friday, Nov. 28, at CSU Pueblo’s ThunderBowl Stadium.
