LINCOLN, Neb. — Husker fans have packed Memorial stadium for a record-setting 404 consecutive sellouts, and now, they’re topping a different kind of list.

A new reports says Nebraska leads all public universities in stadium alcohol sales.

A report from "Extra Points" shows Nebraska leads the nation in alcohol revenue during home football games in August and September, pulling in over $2 million from more than 168,000 drinks sold.

Tennessee, LSU and Minnesota also reported more than a million dollars in alcohol sales over the same stretch.

The data came from open records requests sent to 45 public universities, with 21 providing full numbers.

Extra Points says that some schools were unable to share data because they do not control their own concession sales, or are only able to run numbers at the end of the season. "Memphis and Purdue declined to share data at all," said the newsletter.

This is the first season that Nebraska began allowing alcohol sales at Memorial Stadium for football games.
