HAY SPRINGS, Neb.— All Hay Springs electric customers will be without power due to required maintenance.

Nebraska Public Power District has issued a scheduled power outage for 5 P.M. Mountain Time on December 3.

The outage is expected to last around 2 hours, according to a news release.

“We know outages are not convenient, and we appreciate the patience of the impacted customers while the work is completed,” NPPD Account Manager Jennifer Branson said in the news release. “The work will help ensure reliable service to area customers, and crews will be working hard to complete the work in a safe and efficient manner.”

NPPD is conducting maintenance on the substation in the area.
