MIAMI (AP) — Brit Harris' 24 points off of the bench led Florida International to a 74-61 victory against Omaha on Wednesday.

Harris added three steals for the Panthers (3-3). Corey Stephenson added 15 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Julian Mackey finished with 12 points.

The Mavericks (2-6) were led in scoring by Kamryn Thomas, who finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds and two steals. Lance Waddles added 15 points for Omaha. Ja'Sean Glover finished with nine points and six rebounds.

Florida International took the lead for good with 12:23 remaining in the first half. The score was 38-31 at halftime, with Harris racking up 18 points. Florida International extended its lead to 63-48 during the second half, fueled by an 11-0 scoring run. Zawdie Jackson scored a team-high 10 points in the second half as FIU closed out the win.

Wyoming defeats Denver 101-59

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Leland Walker's 16 points helped Wyoming defeat Denver 101-59 on Wednesday.

Walker shot 6 of 10 from the field and 4 for 4 from the line for the Cowboys (6-1). Khaden Bennett scored 14 points and added seven rebounds. Nasir Meyer had 14 points and shot 5 for 8, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc.

The Pioneers (2-5) were led in scoring by Carson Johnson, who finished with 16 points. Denver also got 10 points and 10 rebounds from Gabe Oldham.

Denker scores 23, Northern Colorado downs Air Force 71-53

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) — Quinn Denker had 23 points in Northern Colorado's 71-53 win against Air Force on Wednesday.

Denker had eight assists for the Bears (6-1). Brock Wisne added 20 points while shooting 8 of 9 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line and also had eight rebounds. Zack Bloch shot 3 for 8 (3 for 5 from 3-point range) and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line to finish with 11 points, while adding three steals.

Kam Sanders led the Falcons (3-5) in scoring, finishing with 16 points. Wesley Celichowski added 10 points and two blocks for Air Force.

Northern Colorado took the lead for good with 3:53 left in the first half. The score was 28-24 at halftime, with Denker racking up eight points. Northern Colorado pulled away with a 9-0 run in the second half to extend a three-point lead to 12 points. The Bears outscored Air Force by 14 points in the final half, as Denker led the way with a team-high 15 second-half points.
