Kylie Diaz has been named the Gared Performance Sports Systems NAIA Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week after a dominant 20-rebound outing that also featured five blocks and three steals in the Bobcats' 79-66 victory over Park on November 25.

Diaz put together a standout double-double, finishing with 34 points and 20 rebounds while logging 38 of 40 minutes on the floor. Sixteen of her rebounds came on the defensive end, anchoring Peru State's effort, while her four offensive boards helped fuel an efficient 12-for-17 shooting performance. She also added 10 made free throws as the Bobcats secured the 13-point win.

Peru State resumes Heart of America Athletic Conference play on Wednesday, December 3, when the Bobcats travel to Baker (Kan.).
