Alliance murder suspect to appear in Sheridan County Court

RUSHVILLE, Neb. - A 26-year-old Alliance woman accused of killing a man and dumping his remains in rural Box Butte County is set to appear in Sheridan County Court on Thursday.
Tamara Bingham is charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony, and removal, concealment or abandonment of a dead human body.
As News Channel Nebraska has reported, Bingham was arrested in connection with the death of 32-year-old Ebram Sifuentes of Alliance, who was last seen Aug. 27 around 6:30 p.m. Human remains were found Sept. 4 in rural Box Butte County. Investigators believe the remains are Sifuentes and that his death was a homicide.
Court records show that the same day authorities announced the search for Sifuentes, Bingham filed for a protection order against him. In her filing, Bingham alleged that Sifuentes had abused her and twice threatened her with a gun between September 2023 and July 2025. The order, which had not been granted, contains no criminal allegations beyond her statements.
Authorities have also arrested 36-year-old Matthew Landreth of Alliance as an accessory to a felony. His exact role in the case has not been detailed. Landreth is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Box Butte County Court.
News Channel Nebraska has reached out to the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office to learn why Bingham’s case is filed in Sheridan County rather than Box Butte County, but has not yet received a response. Stay tuned to News Channel Nebraska for more details.
According to the criminal complaint, Bingham is accused of killing Sifuentes on Aug. 28 with “deliberate and premeditated malice” and disposing of his remains outside a regular place for burial.
