Sidney Table of Grace celebrates success of $125,000 matching grant campaign

Sidney Table of Grace reached its $125K matching grant goal thanks to community support. Leaders say continued monthly giving is key to serving locals year-round.

SIDNEY, Neb. — The Sidney Table of Grace Mobile Food Pantry and Mission Store announced the successful completion of a $125,000 matching grant campaign, crediting widespread community support for helping secure the full match from Bell Lumber & Pole.


The matching grant, organizers said, will fund roughly 80 percent of the organization’s annual operating expenses, supporting food distribution, meal delivery and assistance programs for seniors, individuals with disabilities and families facing hardship in the Sidney area.


Leaders with Table of Grace expressed gratitude to dozens of local businesses, churches, organizations and individual donors who contributed to the campaign, noting the effort represented more than financial support.


“Your generosity isn’t just dollars — it’s hope, stability and real help for real people,” the organization said in a statement. “We truly could not do this without you.”


While the matching grant marks a major milestone, Table of Grace officials emphasized the need for continued year-round support to maintain financial stability. The organization is encouraging community members to participate in its $12-a-Month Campaign, which helps cover remaining operational costs not funded by the grant.


Sidney Table of Grace is a Nazarene Compassionate Ministry dedicated to serving the community with dignity, compassion and care. The organization operates a mobile food pantry and mission store, delivers meals and provides ongoing support to residents in need.
