FALLS CITY - Otis Mann, 47, of Falls City was sentenced Tuesday to three years probation for burglary on July 14.

A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says deputies investigated a theft report from a former high school in Stella. Investigators reviewed security camera footage showing four individuals in dark clothing and hoods, except one with cap. Deputies arrested Otis after serving a search warrant of his girlfriend’s residence in rural Humboldt.

The affidavit says tools valued at $3,000 were taken from the property. Additional arrests were made after another search in Humboldt.

In a separate case Tuesday, a $900 bond provision for a 58-year-old Dawson man was revoked in a Richardson County district court Tuesday after he failed to appear.

Steven Mackey was scheduled for sentencing after a burglary charge was amended to misdemeanor criminal trespassing. Prosecutors say scrap metal was removed from a backyard in Humboldt. Defense counsel’s motion to continue the case was denied and a new bond $15,000 bond was set.

Sentencing had earlier been continued from Jan. 20 to Tuesday.
