Contest Rules

Flood Communications, including KSDZ-FM and KDJL-FM, encourages everyone to play in our contests.

Eligibility


  1. All contestants must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
  2. Contestants must be legal U.S. residents and reside within The Twister’s listening area.
  3. Employees of KSDZ-FM, KDJL-FM, contest sponsors, affiliated companies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of such employees are not eligible to participate or win.
  4. Each household is limited to one contest prize every 30 days, regardless of the type of contest.


How to Enter


  1. Entry into each contest is subject to specific contest rules, which will be announced on-air and posted on The Twister's website.
  2. Entry is free unless otherwise specified, and no purchase is necessary.
  3. For call-in contests, the correct caller number will be specified during the contest. Only the correct caller who meets all entry requirements will be eligible to win.


Winner Notification and Acceptance


  1. Winners will be notified by phone, email, or in-person on-air announcements.
  2. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of winning unless specified otherwise. Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited and awarded to another contestant.
  3. Winners must present a valid ID and sign a prize release form, confirming eligibility and acceptance of the prize.
  4. For contests with cash prizes, winners may be required to complete a W-9 form for tax purposes.


Prizes and Taxes


  1. All prizes are awarded “as is.” Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, substituted, or redeemed for cash unless otherwise specified.
  2. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and other expenses associated with the prize.
  3. The Twister and its sponsors are not responsible for any expenses incurred in claiming or using the prize, including travel or shipping costs.


General Conditions


  1. By entering, contestants agree to allow The Twister and its affiliates to use their name, voice, image, or likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
  2. The Twister reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify contests if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the station's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the contest.
  3. The Twister is not responsible for technical malfunctions, lost or delayed entries, or any errors that may occur in the administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize.


Disqualification and Decisions


  1. Any attempt to manipulate the contest, including tampering with the entry process or other fraudulent actions, may result in disqualification.
  2. All decisions made by The Twister’s on-air personalities and contest judges are final.


Additional Terms


  1. The Twister reserves the right to modify these rules at any time, and any changes will be posted on The Twister’s website.
