DOGE website lists office closures in Valentine, Scottsbluff, Lincoln

VALENTINE, Neb. - The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has identified three Nebraska offices set to close, according to its “Wall of Receipts” website.

Among the closures is a National Park Service building in Valentine, which has an annual lease of $151,670 for 6,234 square feet.

Also on the list is the Internal Revenue Service National Office in Scottsbluff, with an annual lease of $29,549 for 2,000 square feet.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service office in Lincoln is another closure, with an annual lease of $188,448 for 10,471 square feet.

The closures are part of DOGE’s broader effort to reduce government leasing costs. However, details on the timeline and potential impacts remain unclear.
