VALENTINE, Neb. - A driver has been cited after Valentine Police say a vehicle was driving around Frederick Peak Golf Course two days in a row -- on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Clubhouse Manager Megan Hawthorne says the vehicle caused damage to both the fairway and cart paths. The total cost of repairs is still being determined.

“It’s incredibly unusual for someone to be driving around the course, and it’s very dangerous because they were driving backwards on the cart path, and a golfer could have gotten hit,” Hawthorne said.

No injuries were reported.
