Gordon man accused of sexually assaulting children

GORDON, Neb. - Bond has been set at $250,000 for a Gordon man accused of sexually assaulting multiple children. Jose Lima, 36, faces three counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child and one count of third-degree sexual assault.

Lima is accused of sexually assaulting girls under the age of 14 between 2021 through 2025.

If convicted, he faces up to three years in prison on each child sexual assault charge and up to one year on the additional sexual assault count.

Lima is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 30.
